PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reconcile drivability in slow speed reduction and a vehicle stopping distance in rapid speed reduction. SOLUTION: The vehicle is provided with a motor 2 worked by power supplied from a battery 8 as a driving source. The vehicle is provided with a means 9 for controlling control response speed of the motor 2 to high speed side control response speed and low speed side control response speed according to a driving state of the vehicle, a means 9 for estimating a predictive braking state of the vehicle and a means 9 for selecting the high speed side control response speed as the control response speed of the motor 2 when the braking state estimating means 9 predicts rapid braking.
