PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission control device which enables to smoothly travel without losing travel feeling after temporary acceleration during constant speed travel control. SOLUTION: The transmission control device is provided with a shift down control function 111 for controlling shift down of a transmission when a vehicle speed Y exceeds more than a predetermined allowable valueαfrom a set vehicle speed X during the constant speed travel control, and is further provided with a shift down prohibiting control function 109 for prohibiting the shift down control 111 after an accelerator is opened more than a predetermined opening degree and the vehicle speed Y exceeds more than the predetermined allowable valueα(105) during the constant speed travel control.
