SPAM SMS FILTERING METHOD OF MOBILE PHONE

PURPOSE: A spam SMS filtering method of a mobile phone is provided to enable a terminal to delete a short message if the short message includes a reception-denied specific word as registered by a user. CONSTITUTION: In a standby state(S202), a controller determines whether it is in a reception-denial set mode(S204). When a user presses keys corresponding to a specific word desired to be denied, a key input unit generates a corresponding signal and outputs it to the controller. Then the controller processes the signal and displays a specific word on an LCD(S206). The controller stores the specific word in a memory(S208). When a short message is received by the controller(S210), the controller determines whether the short message includes the specific word(S212). If the short message includes the specific message, the controller deletes the short message(S214) and does not execute a reception informing(S216) in order not to inform the user about reception of the short message.
