PURPOSE: A dye-containing curable composition, a color filter using the same and a manufacturing method of the color filter are provided to show good heat resistance and light resistance, and high resolution of a good rectangular pattern. CONSTITUTION: The dye-containing curable composition comprises at least (A) an alkali soluble resin, (B) a dye, and (C) a photosensitive compound, wherein the dye is a phthalocyanine compound represented by the formula (I): M-Pc-(Y)I, in which M is a metallic atom, a metallic oxide, a metallic chloride or hydrogen atom; Pc is a phthalocyanine skeleton; Y is a fluorine-substituted alkoxy group; and I is an integer of from 1 to 8. Such dye-containing curable composition is coated on a support, is exposed through a mask, and is developed to form a pattern, thereby producing a color filter.
