<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric junction box which is vertically placed and secured directly on the body of a vehicle for the enhancement of heat radiation and is capable of preventing the ingress of water into an electronic circuit board even if the water enters the engine room. <P>SOLUTION: A main cover 30 is for housing an electronic circuit board 15 formed by disposing electronic devices and electrical components 13 on a circuit board 14. The main cover 30 is placed over an under-cover 11. An upper-cover 12 is for protecting the electronic devices and the electrical components 13 mounted on the circuit board 14. The upper-cover 12 is attached to the main cover 30 and the under-cover 11, and these members are vertically installed to obtain an electric junction box 10. The under-cover 11 is provided at its upper end in the vertical direction with a positioning structure for fixing the upper-cover 12. The upper-cover 12 is provided at its upper end in the vertical direction with a waterproof member 20 which seals the gap between it and the under-cover 11.
