PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for granulating a raw material for iron manufacture, which preferably converts a raw material for iron manufacture into pseudo-particles or pellets while adjusting the moisture content. SOLUTION: The method for granulating the raw material for iron manufacture containing finely powdered iron ore by mixing it and conditioning the moisture, includes steps of dissolving or dispersing a granulation agent into additive water, spraying the granulation agent dissolved or dispersed in the additive water onto the raw material for iron manufacture, and mixing and granulating the above raw material for iron manufacture. In granulation treatment, the granulation agent preferably includes a high-molecule compound containing a carboxyl group or a salt thereof. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
