MULTIPLE-STAGE COMPRESSION ROTARY COMPRESSOR, AND COOLING APPARATUS FOR SECURING PRESSURE RESISTANCE OF HERMETIC CONTAINER BETWEEN REFRIGERANT INTRODUCTION PIPES

PURPOSE: A multiple-stage compression rotary compressor, and a cooling apparatus are provided to secure the pressure resistance of a hermetic container between refrigerant introduction pipes while reducing the entire size for first and second compression elements. CONSTITUTION: First and second cylinders(38,40) respectively form first and second rotation compression elements(32,34) driven by a driving element(14) installed in a hermetic container(12). An intermediate partition plate(36) is arranged between the first and second cylinders for dividing the first and second rotation compression elements and blocking one aperture of the first and second rotation compression elements. A first supporting member(56) blocks another aperture of the first cylinder and is used as a bearing of one end of a rotary shaft(16) of the driving element. A second supporting member(54) blocks another aperture of the second cylinder and is used as a bearing of the other end of the rotary shaft of the driving element. A first refrigerant introduction pipe(94) for introducing a refrigerant to an inlet side of the first rotary compression element is connected to the first cylinder. A second refrigerant introduction pipe(92) for introducing a refrigerant to an inlet side of the second rotary compression element is connected to the second supporting member.
