<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner wherein a suction grille of a body top face is slid to a predetermined front position and held therein, and an air filter can be inserted and drawn from a front end lower part. <P>SOLUTION: A guide part 7 for sliding the suction grille 8 to the front is composed of a guide groove 13 extending fore and aft and recessed on a flange 12 suspended from a side part of the suction grille 8, a protruding piece 14 provided on a top face panel 6 and slidably engaging with the guide groove 13, and a protruding part 13a protrudedly provided in the guide groove 13, pressing against the protruding piece 14, and holding the suction grille 8 in the predetermined slide position.
