PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piling device having a frame, a conveyor mounted on the frame and a piling assembly mounted on the frame, which is an integrally piling device where articles are disposed to be piled, the piled articles are compressed, a strap is disposed around the piled and compressed articles and the strap is closed on the strap itself. SOLUTION: The piling device has aligned arms movably connected with the frame 14 to align an article M on the piled articles S, a compression section mounted on the frame 14 to compress the piled articles S and a strap device section 12 mounted on the frame 14. The section 12 has a strap chute 34 which conveys the strap around the compressed and piled articles S, a supply head which applies a tension to the strap and a welding head which closes the strap on the strap itself.
