<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular side collision detecting device for detecting side collision of a vehicle and operating an occupant protecting device, and particularly for actuating an airbag. <P>SOLUTION: A first closing circuit 13 is arranged adjacently to a position on a cabin inner side of a piston 10, and a second closing circuit 14 is arranged on the cabin inner side of it for a predetermined distance. This vehicular side collision detecting device is constituted by the first closing circuit 13, the second closing circuit 14, a covered lead wire 15, a relay conductive plate 16 fitted on a confronting diameter position of a cylinder member 7, a thin bare lead wire 17 arranged along the diameter direction of the cylinder member 7 and having both ends integrally jointed to the relay conductive plates 16 by brazing or by other jointing means, and a lead wire holder 18 for covering an end of the bare lead wire 17 in the cylinder member 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
