PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flash charging circuit preventing rush current generating when a boosting transformer is excited, and preventing impossible operation of another electric circuit using a common power source by limiting sudden voltage drop of a battery. SOLUTION: This flash charging circuit comprises a transistor 2 for switching connected in series to a primary winding 1a of a boosting transformer 1; a primary side current detector 3 connected in series to the primary winding of the boosting transformer through the transistor and detecting current flowing through the primary winding; a battery voltage detector 5 detecting a voltage value of the battery; a first comparator 6 comparing a value of the battery voltage detector with a voltage value corresponding to a current value detected with a primary side current detector; and a pulse signal generator 8 generating a pulse signal controlling on and off of the transistor based on a clock signal and the output of the first comparator.
