PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify an input processing of a specification for controlling and operating facilities depending on difference between models in the sequence control of the production facilities for producing a plurality of models. SOLUTION: This sequence control device comprises a programmable controller PLC allowing reading/writing of variable values through an external, a data communicator, and a management computer for controlling the PLC with the reading/writing of the variable values. A ladder diagram for the PLC is replaced with a standardized ladder diagram for displaying "variables" and a determination condition processing and a result processing are computed by a personal computer, transmitted to the PLC and set. Thus, the input processing (programming) for a difference in detailed control specification between the models can be simplified and the ladder diagram for the PLC can be easily generated.
