PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detector for air pressure in a tire for immediately detecting anomaly of air pressure in the tire and providing high reliability on long-term use. SOLUTION: This detector for air pressure in a tire for outputting an electric signal in proportion to an air pressure in the tire is composed to have, in the tire 11, a light emitting element 13 for generating detection light and a light receiving element 14 for receiving the detection light. The tire 11 has a reflection film 15 for reflecting the detection light on at least a part of an inner surface of the tire 11, and the receiving element 14 is composed to receive the detection light reflected by the reflection film 15.
