Process for controlling a piste maintenance vehicle, especially for distributing the driving power from a drive motor (30) of the vehicle to a traveling mechanism (38, 40) and other consumers (42, 44, 46, 48, 50, 52), comprises distributing the driving power under control of a central processing unit (54). The central processing unit is used adjust the distribution of the driving power depending on a pre-determined changeable prioritization of the traveling mechanism, at least one consumer, and/or groups of consumers. An Independent claim is also included for a piste maintenance vehicle.
