A process for instructing personnel on how to maintain and/or repair a tablet press, comprises reading functional data held in the press in a primary step, and delivering help and assistance lists. After a particular help or service support has been selected, it is played as a video and/or audio sequence. The audio and video sequences are in a data bank on e.g. a hard disc or CD ROM.
