PURPOSE: A transmitter for an ultra wideband wireless system is provided to facilitate discrimination of signals and extension of signal types by discriminating signals with three variables of a time delay, an amplification level and a sign. CONSTITUTION: A timing controller(110) generates a reference clock signal to control an operation timing of a coding code generator(120) and a time delay unit(150). The coding code generator(120) stores a coding code for coding an external input signal inputted to an operating unit(130). The operating unit(130) arithmetically operates the external input signal and a coding code provided from the coding code generator(120). A mapping unit(140) maps a coding signal provided from the operating unit(130) to a certain form to generate a symbolized mapping signal. The time delay unit(150) delays the mapping signal for a certain time with the reference clock signal generated from the timing controller(110), to output it. A level converter(160) converts or maintains an amplitude of a delay signal outputted from the time delay unit(150), to output it. A modulator(170) converts an amplitude-converted signal outputted from the level converter(160) into at least one trigger signal and outputs a positive or negative trigger signal. An impulse generator(180) generates a positive or negative impulse signal in response to the positive or negative trigger signal. |
