PURPOSE: A structure for preventing moisture permeation in a fan motor for a refrigerator is provided to prevent moisture from permeating a PCB, thereby normally operating a fan motor. CONSTITUTION: A housing(100) has a predetermined space inside. The housing is injection-molded using plastics. A motor assembly is installed inside the housing for providing rotary force. A PCB(Printed Circuit Board) is installed inside the housing adjacent to the motor assembly, and is connected with the motor assembly by connecting elements(140) to control the motor assembly. A waterproof layer(160) formed of a urethane material is formed on a bottom surface of the housing in height as half as the motor assembly. The waterproof layer is applied on the connecting elements and a top surface of the PCB.
