Sliding door comprises a track profile (2) moving on roller blocks, and a door construction protruding upward from the track profile and having uprights (5), door fillings (7) and an upper profile strip (6). The upper profile strip is connected to the track profile by tension rods (20). Preferred Features: The tension rods are provided at least at their ends protruding into the lower track profile with an external thread receiving a nut (22). The tension rods are preferably threaded rods. The tension rods are screwed into anchor parts (21, 30) held in the upper profile strip.
