PURPOSE: A system and a method for offering the driving information of an empty car using the Internet are provided to reduce the expense for renting a bus and prevent the unnecessary energy consumption by offering the empty car information to a traveler and a car owner in order to minimize the empty driving. CONSTITUTION: A web server(10) provides the desired information data to a client connecting to a site on the Internet. An operating system(20) transmits the data according to the HTTP(HyperText Transfer Protocol). The traveler(50) receives the driving information of the empty car by connecting to the web server through the Internet. The car owner(60) provides the status information of the empty car that a driving schedule is understood. A database manager(40) manages the empty car information database(41) and a member information database(42).
