PURPOSE: An electric rice pot is provided to form a lid assembly to an upper portion of a display unit for a user's convenience and to prevent failure due to high temperature. CONSTITUTION: An electric rice pot includes a main body(1), a lid assembly(2), an electric heating device, a display unit, a cooling fan(6) and an inlet. Vent holes(100,200) are formed to an open portion of the main body and a contacting surface of the lid assembly. An inner venting passage(300) and an outlet(400) are formed to the lid assembly. The vent hole is formed near the display unit. A gasket is installed to a contacting portion of the vent hole. Thereby, failure due to high temperature is prevented while the display unit is formed to the upper portion of the lid assembly. A user identifies an operating condition of the electric rice pot with the display unit.
