APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR ENCRYPTING WIRELESS BLOCK USING WCDMA METHOD

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for encrypting a wireless block using a WCDMA(Wide band Code Division Multiple Access) method are provided to enhance an encrypting function in a wireless block by dividing the transmitting data in slots and frames according to a PN(Pseudo-random Noise) code and transmitting the divided data to plural FAs. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for encrypting a wireless block using a WCDMA method includes a scrambling code generator(22), a serial/parallel converter(23), and a switch(24). The scrambling code generator(22) is used for generating a PN code by using an arbitrary number as a seed between a terminal and a base station. The serial/parallel converter(23) is used for converting the PN code to a parallel signal of predetermined bits. The switch(24) selects an FA corresponding to the parallel signal and transmits the data to the wireless block.
