A method for manufacturing a plurality of low- or medium-voltage switchboards of different dimensions (W1,W2,W3,W4,W5), com­prises the step of manufacturing a first mounting plate for bus­bars in a first production line and a second mounting plate for PE/N-bars in a second production line. The first and second mounting plates are then mounted on a support in common, such as a framework.
