PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for automatically extracting and separating liquid phase mixture by electronically controlling a series of processes of supplying sample solution and extraction solvent to separatory funnel, mixing the solution with the solvent and separately collecting difference solution layers from the solution and solvent are provided. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises sample solution supply valves(V22,V23) mounted on connection pipes(2a,2b) between sample supply funnels(51a,51b) and separatory funnels(54a,54b); extraction solvent supply valves(V12,V14) mounted on connection pipes(1a,1b) between extraction solvent supply tanks(52a,52b) and the separatory funnels; mixing and pressing valves(V4,V9) mounted on air transfer pipes(4a,4b) between air pumps(55a,55b) and the separatory funnels; solution discharge valves(V5,V10,V15,V16) mounted on solution discharge pipes(6a,6b,8a,8b) between collection containers(57a,57b) and the separatory funnels(54a,54b); and a control part for supplying sample solution and extraction solvent to the separatory funnels, mixing the sample solution with the extraction solvent using air, and stationing the mixture for a certain period of time, thereby controlling opening and closing of the valves to separately collect separated solutions in such a way that opening and closing of the solution discharge valves are controlled according to solution signal received from solution sensors(56a,56b), wherein the apparatus further comprises a solution transfer pipe(7) connected between first separatory funnel solution discharge pipe(6a) and second separatory funnel solution discharge pipe(6b), solution transfer valves and solution discharge valves mounted on the solution transfer pipe, and a cleaning solvent supply valve (V13) mounted on connection pipe between cleaning solvent supply tank(53) and the separatory funnels.
