PURPOSE: An apparatus for holding tension reel of sleeve for cold rolled coil is provided to prevent rubber sleeve inserted into segment of the tension reel from being extracted from the segment of the tension reel along with the cold rolled coil when the cold rolled coil is extracted from the tension reel. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a body(10) fixed onto segment(110); a plurality of moving means(30) moved back and forth with being contacted with the sleeve(120) inserted onto the segment in a circumferential direction of the body; and a sleeve fixing means(50) which is installed on the body in such a manner that the sleeve fixing means is rotated by the moving means, and at a lower part of which an electromagnet(52) fixed to a magnetic substance installed at the sleeve when bipolar magnetic force is generated is installed, wherein the body is formed in a circular ring shape and fixed to a stopper(12) cohesively fixed onto the segment, and the moving means comprises moving arms(34) which pass through openings formed on upper and lower sides of the body, and to the inner side of which spring(32) is elastically supported; guide rolls(36) installed at a front end part of the moving arms in such a way that the guide rolls are contacted with an end part(120a) of the sleeve inserted into the segment; and a rack part(38) formed on a rear end part of the moving arms.
