ENERGY RECOVERY SYSTEM AND RECOVERING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An energy recovery system and a recovering method thereof are provided to reduce the power consumption by reducing the number of circuit elements formed on a current path. CONSTITUTION: An energy recovery system includes a panel capacitor and a source capacitor(Cs). The panel capacitor is commonly formed at a first electrode and a second electrode of a panel. The source capacitor is installed at one of the first electrode and the second electrode of the panel. The source capacitor is charged or discharged by the panel capacitor. The source capacitor is charged and discharged within one subfield once. The source capacitor is discharged when the first sustain pulse is supplied to one subfield. The source capacitor is charged when the last sustain pulse is supplied to one subfield.
