摘要 PURPOSE: An electronic bypass switch in a ring-type communication network is provided to enable all receiving nodes to simultaneously receive data frames by an electronic bypass function, and to remove time delay in intermediate nodes, thereby improving transmission speed in a ring-type communication network. CONSTITUTION: A controller(110) operates a self node in either a receiving mode or a transmission mode, depending on whether a transmission right is obtained. An analog switching unit(120) turns on a transmission path in the transmission mode, turns off a bypass path, and turns off the transmission path in the receiving mode as turning on the bypass path, confirming whether data is received and passing the data to an adjacent node. A data transceiver(130) confirms whether the data is received through the analog switching unit(120), or delivers the data to a ring-type network. An optical/electric converter(140) exchanges the data between the ring-type network and the data transceiver(130).
