DRAINAGE SYSTEM FOR HEAT EXCHANGER

PURPOSE: A drainage system of a heat exchanger is provided to remove condensate on a surface of a cooling fin through a drain passage and reduce flow resistance of air by including drain guide member either between contacting surfaces of cooling fins or between a contacting surface of the cooling fin and a flat tube. CONSTITUTION: A header(11,12) is installed vertically. A flat tube(13) is communicated with the header by having a refrigerant passage. Cooling fins(14) contact layer by layer toward distant direction from an outer surface of the flat tube to expand heat exchanging size of the flat tube. A drain guide member(15) is included between contacting surfaces of cooling fins by forming a curved portion to have a drain passage toward a gravitational direction. Therein, condensate on the surface of the cooling fin is removed fast through the drain passage.
