The cleaning system has a wiper water tank (4), a pump (5), nozzles (7), connecting lines (8,9) and a water collection device (6) for collecting precipitation water. The water collection device has a preferably electrical suction device that sucks in precipitation water and feeds it to the wiper water tank. The water collection device contains a water collection container. AN Independent claim is also included for the following: (a) a method of feeding precipitation water into an inventive cleaning system.
