The Abstract of the Disclosure has been amended as follows: The present invention provides a hybrid inflator in which excellent operation performance can be obtained. The present invention provides a hybrid inflator for an inflatable safety system of a vehicle provided with an air bag, comprising an inflator housing, two gas generating chambers which is are accommodated in the inflator housing and provided with a gas generating agent, and two ignition means chambers provided with ignition means which are connected to the two gas generating chambers, wherein liquefied CO2 is charged in the sealed space, which is the remaining space excluding the gas generating chamber and the ignition means accommodating chamber inside the inflator housing, the number of moles of the liquefied CO2/the number of moles of the non-azide gas generating agent is 0.2 to 5, a charged amount of the liquefied CO2 is 0.6 to 3 moles, and a charged amount of the non-azide gas generating agent is 0.6 to 3 moles.
