[Also in Group XVII] The drive between a motor 66 and a sprocket 62 is through a friction coupling arranged to slip in the event of overload. A cone 196 is keyed to a collar 194 fast with the motor-shaft and is slidable therealong to engage a female cone in the sprocket. A spring 202 presses on the cone 196, its effect being adjustable by an annulus 204 threaded on the end of the collar 194. Specifications 728,174 and 824,060 are referred to. |
