An debris-capturing apparatus (10) having a fluid-pervious wall (12), an attachmentportion (14) attachable to the outflow port (22) of a pressure-cleaner device (20), and acollapsible inflow tube(16) that is substantially opened and made erect by the inflow of fluid butotherwise axially collapsed and thereby closed so as to block reverse flow of debris (25) throughthe outflow port (22). The erected inflow tube (16) preferably has cross-sectional flow areasalong its entire length approximating the cross-sectional flow area of the outflow port (22). Thedebris-capturing apparatus (10) is preferably integrally formed such that the inflow (16) tube is aturned-in extension of the attachment portion (14).
