PURPOSE: Provided is a transgenic mouse over-expressing junctate, which is useful as a model animal for studying the mechanism and treatment for cardiac hypertrophy and atrial fibrillation. CONSTITUTION: The transgenic mouse is a mus musculus mouse transformed into a gene structure comprising a junctate genetic sequence. Particularly, the mus musculus mouse is transformed into a gene structure comprising an alpha-myosine promoter, junctate gene and human growth hormone(HGH) polyadenylation sequence. Additionally, the transgenic mouse is produced by forming the gene structure comprising alpha-myosine medium-chain promoter, junctate gene and HGH polyadenylation sequence, and introducing the gene structure into an embryo of a mouse.
