PURPOSE: A carbon heating element having an electrode formed by a plating method is provided to prevent the generation of gaps between the carbon heating element as a non-metal material and a terminal as a metal material by performing an electroless plating process. CONSTITUTION: A carbon heating element having an electrode formed by a plating method includes a plurality of terminals. The terminals are formed at both ends of the carbon heating element. The terminals are formed by a preprocess(110), an electroless plating process(120), and an electric copper plating process(130). The preprocess(110) is performed to remove particles from a surface of a plating target. The electroless plating process(120) is performed to form a dense plating layer in order to prevent a stripping phenomenon of the plating layer from the carbon heating element. The electric copper plating process(130) is performed to reduce a time for the plating process and increase the thickness of the terminals.
