摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce deformation and vibration in claw-shaped magnetic poles in a rotor. SOLUTION: The rotor for rotating electric machine comprises rotor coils 15 for generating magnetic flux, pole cores provided so that the rotor coils 15 are covered therewith and comprising first pole core bodies 19 and second pole core bodies 20 each having claw-shaped magnetic poles 21 and 22 protruded so that they are alternately engaged with each other, magnets 23 which are placed on both side faces of the claw-shaped magnetic poles 21 and 22 and reduce the leakage of magnet flux between the side faces of adjacent claw-shaped magnetic poles 21 and 22, and magnet assemblies 25 comprising magnet holding members 24 which support the magnets 23 on the claw-shaped magnetic poles 21 and 22. The magnet assemblies 25 are so disposed that, when the magnet assemblies 25 are installed on the claw-shaped magnetic poles 21 and 22, the center 25G of each magnet assembly 25 is positioned at the base of the claw-shaped magnetic poles 21 and 22.
