ELECTRONIC CLUTCH FOR COMPRESSOR

PURPOSE: An electronic clutch for a compressor is provided to prevent the adherence of a bearing by cooling the bearing with the outer air and accordingly not rising the self-temperature of the bearing and to expand the life span of the bearing by filling the grease filled in the bearing for a long time with keeping the viscosity. CONSTITUTION: An electronic clutch for a compressor is composed of a pulley(1) rotatively installed to a housing of a compressor by a pulley bearing(20); a field coil unit(2) inserted into the pulley and supported to the compressor to generate absorption magnetic flux to the apply of power; a disc and hub assembly(100) fixed to a rotary shaft(3) of the compressor and selectively absorbed to the clutch pulley by the field coil unit; and an air inlet unit formed at the disc and hub assembly to flow the outer air to the bearing to cool the bearing. The air inlet units are a plurality of air inlet holes(113) formed along the circumferential direction of a flange(112) and a hub(110) comprising the disc and hub assembly.
