PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding container in which a locking operation under an assembled condition of the folding container and an unlocking operation can be respectively performed by one operation, operability is excellent, a lock bar can be assembled by using a minimum number of parts, and the number of the parts is reduced to simplify the structure. SOLUTION: The lock bar 6 arranged on the first side plate 3 is divided into two, and a lock part 11 of lock parts 6A of one side is projected to the outside from one side edge 3a of the first side plate 3 so as to freely move up and down, and a lock part 12 of lock parts 6B of the other side is projected to the outside from the other side edge 3b of the first side plate 3 so as to freely move up and down. The other end parts 13 and 14 of the lock parts 6A and 6B are respectively directly connected by a connecting means 8. A spring 16 for locking for holding the lock parts 11 and 12 under a locked condition where the lock parts 11 and 12 are hooked to a lock receiving part 15 under a condition where the first and second side plates 3 and 4 are stood, and an operating part 17 for moving the lock parts 11 and 12 to an unlocked position, are provided.
