PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form no step difference at a cut mark. SOLUTION: This metal cylindrical body cutting machine is constituted to cut off a portion held between a pair of fixed blade dies 2, 2, starting from a prepunched hole 5 formed beforehand in a prescribed position of a metal cylindrical body 1, by a moving blade die 3 moving between the pair of fixed blade dies 2, 2 arranged to hold the prepunched hole 5. Even when the prepunched hole 5 and the fixed blade dies 2, 2 are not aligned, the blade tip 3a of the moving blade die 3 can be positively inserted into the prepunched hole 5, and the fixed blade dies 2, 2 are moved for fine adjustment by a position adjusting means 9 by the insertion pressure in the process of insertion to make the fixed blade dies 2, 2 and the prepunched hole 5 aligned.
