CONTROL ROD CONNECTION ARRANGEMENT STRUCTURE FOR BOOSTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arrangement structure for removably connecting a brake booster control rod for an automobile to a brake pedal.

SOLUTION: In the arrangement structure 10, one end 16 of the brake booster control rod 12 is connected to a midway part 20 of a vertical operation rod 22 of a pedal 14 through a head part 32 and at least one spherical support surface 34 of the head part is stored in a complementary boss 36 formed on a wall of the midway part. The head part 32 is retained to the state contacted with the boss 36 by an elastically deformable axial retaining means 38 clamped between the midway part 20 of the operation rod and the control rod 12. The deformation of the retaining means is controlled by a lock release means 52 accessable from the outside of the midway part 20 of the operation rod 22.
