PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic disk device which is large in storage capacity due to a heat-assist magnetic recording method and compact in size and light due to a rotary actuator by solving the problem that a yaw angle changes with a seek operation which moves a head in the radius direction using the rotary type actuator and a track dislocation occurs to a heating region and a recording element in a heat-assist type magnetic disk device. SOLUTION: A mechanism which moves either the heating region or the recording element in the slider width direction, and a heating element and the recording element are arranged in the track traveling direction according to the yaw angle of the head.
