PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reproduction-exclusive optical recording medium which is compatible in recording format with a writable optical recording medium, and also provide a recording device therefor. SOLUTION: In the optical recording medium, each of a plurality of data block regions has main data for a block, which are error correction units to the main data, and a structure in which identification data for the main data are added for every main data piece obtained by dividing the main data for the block into a prescribed number and a linking region formed by pseudo-data inserted among a plurality of the data block regions are provided in a track.
