PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe inside inspection device having long runnable elongation. SOLUTION: A control device 11 installed on the ground surface 3 is connected to a pipe-inside running robot 9 through a cable 13. A plurality of wheels 15 are provided on the cable 13. The wheels 15 are installed around the cable 13 to the number of four and provided over the whole length of the cable 13 at prescribed intervals (for example, at the interval of 1.5m). The four wheels 15 are provided around the cable 13, for example, at intervals of 90 degrees. Since the wheels 15 are provided on the cable 13 at fixed intervals, a cable frictional force generated when the cable 13 passes a bent part of a gas pipe 5 is greatly reduced, to thereby enable to lengthen the runnable elongation of the pipe-inside running robot.
