PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer feeder for a transfer press which can manufacture the transfer press of a small installation area. SOLUTION: The transfer feeder comprises a plurality of work holding mechanisms capable of holding works, a plurality of pairs of feed driving mechanisms for moving the work holding mechanism in the longitudinal direction, and a plurality of pairs of lift driving mechanisms for moving the work holding mechanisms in the vertical direction. The plurality of pairs of right and left lift driving mechanisms are disposed at a predetermined interval in the longitudinal direction in the transfer press. The work holding mechanism to be moved by one lift driving mechanism and the work holding mechanism to be moved by the lift driving mechanism disposed immediately before or behind the lift driving mechanism alternately hold or release the work at a predetermined position, and the work holding mechanism is moved so as to synchronously depict a predetermined locus by the feed driving mechanism and the lift driving mechanism.
