An expanding esp. plastic plug (10) is inserted in a hole drilled within a wall. The sections forming the plug (14,16) are expanded by the action of a screw. The sections are over-dimensioned with respect to the hole. Following insertion in the hole, a screw turned into the plug forces the sections into contact with each other closing the gaps (28) previously separating them, and the wall. |
