<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antireflection coating and antireflection film having low reflectance, excellent in anti-scratching property and anti-fouling property, suitable for mass production, and excellent in weatherability, and to provide an image display apparatus using them. <P>SOLUTION: The antireflection coating is formed of repeated units of a main chain consisting of a perfluoroethylnyl component, and a coupling compound combining silyl radicals at the end of the main chain piece and a film forming composition containing at least a kind of silane coupling agent are laminated as an overcoat layer on a low reflectance layer.
