PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for album creation for easily creating an album and to provide a program for realizing the method for album creation. SOLUTION: A memory card to be used for photography is selected first. Since the memory card is already stored with templates matching an event, a memory card for sports meeting is selected for a sports meeting or a memory card for wedding ceremony is selected for a wedding ceremony. For example, the memory card for sports meeting is selected. Then the selected memory card is inserted into a digital camera and a picture is taken. The photographed picture is saved on the memory card. When a template 20a is selected at this time, the source code of the template 20a is rewritten and the photographed picture is linked.
