PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous footing which contributes to shortening of a construction period and reduction in construction costs by employing a permanent form which readily copes with a continuous footing of any height. SOLUTION: The continuous footing is formed of a permanent form 1A consisting of form panels 2 and a joint member 3, and a concrete foundation body B. In formation of each form panel 2, a panel unit 1 is first obtained by bending both lengthwise ends of a metallic plate into the ell as flanges 1a, and then at least two of the form panels thus obtained are stacked on each other such that the flanges 1a, 1a are abutted on each other, to thereby form the form panel 2. Then a pair of the form panels 2 are opposedly arranged at a predetermined interval, and the joint member 3 is laid between the mutually opposed flanges 1a, 1a of the respective form panels 2, 2 to connect the flanges 1a, 1a to each other. The concrete foundation body B is constructed integrally with the permanent form 1A by placing concrete in the permanent form 1A. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
