STRUCTURE FOR IMPROVING NOISE OF INTERNAL GEAR OIL PUMP

PURPOSE: A structure for improving noise of an internal gear oil pump is provided to suppress sudden fluctuation of pressure due to sudden fluctuation of sectional area and to reduce noise generated in low/middle speed range so as to reduce noise in a car room, and to reduce weight of a damping cover so as to reduce cost due to mounting of the damping cover by forming an inclined part in a turbulence chamber placed on an inlet of the oil pump and a stepped part in a pressure cell placed on an outlet of the oil pump. CONSTITUTION: An internal gear oil pump has turbulence chambers formed on an inlet(1) and an outlet(2) thereof. A pressure cell(4) is formed in a range in which a rotor of the oil pump moves oil. An inclined part(20) is formed on the turbulence chamber placed on the inlet of the oil pump to allow volume of oil in the pressure cell to be slowly changed. A stepped part(30) is formed on the pressure cell placed on the outlet of the oil pump to allow volume of the oil in the pressure cell to be slowly changed and to prevent generation of noise in low/middle speed range due to sudden fluctuation of sectional area.
