PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To nondestructively and satisfactorily search a buried mine regardless of the kind of mines. SOLUTION: This mine search device 10 for searching the mine 1 buried in the ground has a microorganism 11 for converting a composition material (nitrogen oxide, hydrocarbon) composing the explosive of the mine buried in the ground to another material; an infrared imaging camera 12 for detecting the temperature distribution of the ground surface 2 changed in temperature by the presence of the microorganism; and a display 14 for displaying an image taken by the infrared imaging camera.
