PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control system that can improve the operation convenience from a remote controller by making an in-house controller report the state of electrical equipment and remotely controllable operation to a control server and secure the safety by setting whether or not the remote control can be performed by a remote control permitting means in case of a theft of the remote controller. SOLUTION: This remote control system comprises the remote controller 101, the electrical equipment 102 to be controlled, the in-house controller 103 controlling the electrical equipment 102, and the control server 104 which transmits signals between the remote controller 101 and in-house controller 103, and the in-house controller 103 is equipped internally with a communication means 105 of communicating with the control server 104, a control means 106 of controlling the electrical equipment with commands from the communication means 105 and a user, and the remote control permitting means 107 of determining whether the remote control by the control means 106 is allowed or not.
