PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display system which smoothly conducts data transfer when image data are transferred from a plurality of terminals and to provide an image display device, an image data output device, an image display method, an image display program and an image data output program. SOLUTION: The image display device is connected to a network, which is capable of conducting mutual communication with a plurality of terminals that accumulate image data, obtains image data from each of the terminals and displays images. The device consists of a display device side communication means which is used to conduct mutual communication with the respective terminals, an image data acquisition control means which controls the display device side communication means in order to obtain image data from a prescribed terminal while executing transmission stop instructions to other terminals so that these terminals stop transmission of image data and an image display means which displays an image based on the obtained image data through the controlling of the image data acquisition control means.
